Funny memory...
Whee I'm totally being an LJ whore these last few days.
Funny memory...
When I was really little (like barely old enough to walk) my grandmother and grandfather and I would always go to Santa Rosa every other saturday. Every single time we went I got carsick and would throw up..... Every time without fail. I mean it was only a 2 and a half hour drive.
However, I remember that on my first real road trip (to La Grande, OR) about a week before I turned two years old... It was probably an eleven or twelve hour drive. I rode through the whole thing without sleeping or getting carsick... and made my parents pull over every hour or single time I saw a herd of reindeer, which ever came first.... (it was winter, the reindeer were EVERYWHERE... actually I think they were whitetails...)
Why did I always get carsick on a 2.5 hour car ride to Santa Rosa?
Because, as a two year old, I figured that the breakfast of champions was obviously an entire box of dark chocolate fudgesicles or orange creamsicles.
